Today at 8pm I leave for Sacramento to attend the 76th annual American Legions Boys State Program. I am pretty tired after my flight back from Annapolis, Maryland last night.
I am looking forward to seeing what Boys State is all about and meeting the “Best of Best” in the
State of California.
I already know a few people that went to The United States Naval Academy the same time I did will also be attending Boys State.

I just got back from one of the most amazing experiences of my life attending The Naval Academy Summer Seminar Program at Annapolis, Maryland.
I got to experience what it would be like to come to The Naval Academy as a Midshipman. I now know I want to come to this school. It’s beautiful. This is what I want to do.
I wanted to share a few pictures with you because I need to get ready to leave for Sacramento later today to attend the 76th session of the American Legion Boys State Program.
Lastly, thank you all who help me raise the money and supported me to get to Annapolis.

It’s time. Almost!
I am leaving to Annapolis in 8 hours to attend Session 3 of the United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar. I am excited.
I am all packed ready to go! My family is having a BBQ before I leave this evening then I head out to the airport at 10pm to get on my 12:00am flight to Annapolis.
Thank you to all my family and friends who have supported me both spiritually and financially to make this trip happen!
I try to keep you posted while I am away..

Guess what? I made the front page of Yucaipa High School Website.
That’s pretty cool(see picture below).
The last few days of school are going to be busy. I just finished up my Physics final yesterday and found out I will get an “A” in my Physics Class.
I have a serious chance of getting straight “A” this semester. I still have an “A” in Trig, “B+” in English, “A” in World Geography, and “B+” in History. “A” JROTC
It’s going to come down to my finals next week.
I am also studying for my ACT exam on Saturday and training for Candidate Fitness Test at The United States Naval Academy.
I leave for Annapolis a week from today. Wish me luck!

Last night my dad was reading the Redlands Daily Facts online and found this article with my fellow Eagle Scout, Patrick Beaty.
We are both current members of Redlands Boy Scout Troop 11 and where selected for the Boys State Program.
There is actually another former member of Troop 11, who is also an Eagle Scout that was selected to attend Boys State Program. He is my former patrol member George Beal. Congrats to both of them for this great accomplishment.

My dad had me record this video almost 4 years ago. I don’t believe I was really that young 🙂
